Boise in June

This post is going to be full of dogs! Chris and I went to visit his family in Boise the first week of June.  First, Hailey, an English Setter.

She completely stole my heart. I now know that my childhood dog, Snowball, was definitely part English Setter! They looked so similar.

We took a walk on the Boise Greenbelt, a trail that runs beside the Boise River for several miles.

The Boise River was very flooded due to the water being let out of the dam at Lucky Peak.

I stumbled upon these three yellow labs at the Boise Co-op. The one on the left is one year old and the one on the right is 11!

Remember Finn? He has a special place in my heart because he is so lovable and beautiful. Here he is after a run through the pond.

Missy is new to the neighborhood. She's young and doesn't trust many people, but hopefully when we go back for the holidays she will let me play with her!

Jessica's visit to LA over Memorial Day weekend

I'm doing some major catchup!  First, my sister-in-law came to visit over Memorial Day weekend.  She lives in Idaho so the first stop was In-n-Out!

We decided last minute to drive to Vegas where Chris was working. Of course we saw Barry!

Fun times with friends

We had the chance to spend the evening with two of our great friends, Jason and Michelle.  Jason had a photo shoot for Nike and we went out to dinner after.  Notice my headset:)

Happy Father's Day again!

I wanted to include Chris's dad in our Father's Day tributes.  He passed away before I met Chris but I know he was a huge influence in the man that Chris has become today. Do you think Chris looks like him (that's Jessica, Chris's sister, with them in the first picture)?

My sister and nephews visiting LA

My nephew, Will, is going to SeaCamp on Catalina Island this week.  My sister and Witt, her other son, are staying with us for the week while Will is gone.  This picture is for my parents, their three grandchildren, Will, Witt and Riley:

After Will's boat left for Catalina, we went to the beach. Witt was so excited to see the Pacific Ocean!

We were right beside the dog beach so I had so much fun taking pictures of dogs having a blast! Here is a 3 legged dog chasing a Vizsla!

Happy Fathers Day!

Happy Father's Day, Bud!  We are so thankful for you being in our lives.  I am thinking of you now because we are in Palm Springs where I first met you about 8 years ago.  Little did  I know that I was meeting the man who would be a father figure to me, but for that I am so thankful!  We love you!
